Three Rivers Arts Festival, a division of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, returned the Juried Visual Art Exhibition component of the festival in 2010 as a way to showcase the best art produced in the Pittsburgh region.
The festival received hundreds of entries in 2011, from which a three-person jury -- Kate Lydon, of the Society of Contemporary Craft; Jason Busch, a curator at the Carnegie Museum of Art; and Murray Horne, curator for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust -- selected 85 works by 60 artists.
Mox Box Consultants Christine Whispell, Grant Bobitski, and Matt Indovina of Moxie DaDA organize and install the artwork selected each year for this exhibition.
